Payconiq's payment app was one of the pioneers in the field of smartphone payments. We developed a video strategy for them to successfully launch the new app — for both B2C and B2B, as well as specific-use videos.

No bank card or cash required — just a smartphone to complete your payment. In the series of videos for Payconiq, we showcase the features of the payment app and what makes paying with it so straightforward.
The goal was for everyone to start using the app, both individuals and businesses alike. And success followed. In no time, the app was downloaded more than 500,000 times.


Situation-specific videos
Alongside the general B2C and B2B videos, we also produced situation-specific videos. In these, we demonstrate the convenience of the payment app across a variety of circumstances. For example, checking out your online shopping basket from bed, splitting the bill at a restaurant, or simply confirming your concert ticket purchase from the sofa with a single fingerprint.
The videos were delivered entirely in Payconiq's brand identity, ensuring the video content fits seamlessly with all other brand materials.


Future-proof videos
Rather than having actors speak on camera, we use a voice-over. This allows us to adapt the films into other languages with ease, without the need to reshoot. Handy, as Payconiq is also expanding beyond Dutch borders.
With international ambitions in mind, during filming we shot a green screen rather than the actual application. This gives our animation specialists the flexibility to populate the screens as required and make adjustments at a later stage. For instance, to translate the app versions and on-screen text into English.
