The exceptional circumstances of the COVID-19 crisis have made it clear why processing and making data more universally available according to the FAIR principle is more important than ever. We have produced a bespoke animation that explains to viewers in an accessible way exactly what FAIR data entails and how it is currently being applied in scientific research.
