Branded Content - What is that?
Branded content is content in which the message of a brand is not the central focus, but the brand still plays a role. Often the product or service of the brand plays a part, without this being the focus or explicitly mentioned.
Branded content is a subtle form of marketing that is often used for young people or target audiences who are 'allergic' to commercial content. As a reputable brand, branded content can also be the way to create content without resorting to blatant advertising. The art of branded content is to have your brand appear in the visuals without placing too much focus on it. When you have a recognisable logo and/or colours this is often straightforward to achieve. For lesser-known brands, it is more of a challenge.
