What is the difference between VR and Metaverse ?
Virtual Reality (VR) and the Metaverse are similar, but inherently different. VR creates realistic, immersive experiences in defined environments, while the Metaverse is a shared virtual world accessible via the Internet.
The Metaverse includes VR, but is not limited to VR headsets. Accessible through various devices, it has the potential to transform the way we communicate, work and play. VR, on the other hand, will likely remain a niche product focused on gaming, training and specific applications.
The future promises an interplay of both technologies. VR will continue to deliver realistic experiences, while the Metaverse provides a platform for large-scale, shared virtual interaction. Together they will push the boundaries of virtual experience.
