What is a voice over ?

A voice over is literally a voice that is placed over images. The voice-over voice tells something about the images that a viewer sees. You use this voice to provide additional information to the viewer or to explain complex matters. You therefore only use a voice-over when it is really important for the images and to convey the right message.
